Whether ammonia from the Netherlands, steel from Sweden or waste materials from Italy: based in Denmark and Sweden, we operate an extensive single wagonload network as well as efficient intermodal and block train services, connecting Scandinavia with the whole of Europe. The multifunctional intermodal terminals in Taulov (Fredericia) and Høje Taastrup (Copenhagen) ensure efficient transshipment of containers, swap bodies and trailers. Additional services and flexibility make our terminals true all-round hubs, including for recyclable materials, chemicals and other dangerous goods. In this way, DB Cargo simultaneously delivers goods to customers, stocks supermarkets and keeps factories and ports running—all at the same time.

As the only provider on the corridor, we move up to 2,300 tonnes with a single locomotive and connect Germany, Denmark and Sweden with a total of 30 multi-system electric locomotives—without changing locomotives. Diesel and shunting locomotives certified for HVO operation complete the flexible portfolio. A local multilingual team, close contacts with policymakers and partnerships in the rail and logistics sectors create optimal customer solutions. With its own maintenance facility in Fredericia and a mobile team ready for deployment at any time, DB Cargo consistently ensures availability and customer satisfaction on the Northern route.
