Open network for every company

Germany’s nationwide rail network provides customers across all industries with the connections they need—regardless of the volume to be transported. Its dense coverage supports the logistics of individual freight wagons within the single-wagon system as effectively as regular block-train services for companies with large transport volumes. Rail access points throughout the country, for example via railports and transshipment terminals, give every customer easy access to rail. This enables DB Cargo to offer all customers flexibly bookable connections to Germany’s and Europe’s economic centres.

To ensure that planning and execution run smoothly, DB Cargo provides end-to-end customer service from a single source, with seamless integration into our customers’ processes. Additional services can be added individually, allowing rail freight transport to be tailored flexibly to specific requirements. Direct long-distance connections with high frequencies in the single wagonload network also provide planning certainty and efficient logistics across a dense network, for example on the Mannheim–Maschen corridor.
